2022

Overview

Allen Solly sourced over 1.5M handbags annually from China (~₹350 crores / $43M). This single-source dependency posed risks like unstable supply chains, longer lead times, rising duties, and limited flexibility. The project evaluated the feasibility of decentralizing production to India, leveraging the growing premium handbag sector.
